SzeChuan Celebrity Fund Raiser

I went to a 'Celebrity' fund raiser yesterday night hosted by the Asian Television and Movie Association or whatever they're called last night, and it was one of the biggest waste of my time.

Essentially, it is a giant jerk-off fest where people with money hang around with other people with money to pat themselves on the back for being generous with donations. There's a lot of feelings of "Well, I already donated, so I'm just gonna sit here and eat and then get out as soon as possible."

It was also accompanied by the saddest auction I've ever seen. The auctioneers had to practically beg the audience to bid on items.


The sad thing is that ideally, it would be best to just somehow make the rich people donate without resorting to dinners and auctions, because that's what is important. When these people donate, they feel entitled to something, which is completely opposite to what should have happened.

Wii Fit, hell yeah.

It sold out everywhere in like the first hour or so.

 

Anyway, I've got something better than wii-fit, and that's running outside for free!

 

Woo.

 

It is too bad that the weather recently has been fairly shitty. Either it is raining or it is really damn hot outside.

 

So I'm finally (really) done with the house-renovation, and I'm glad that I can start on my thing now. Ugh. What a delay!

Shot but alive.

I was shot right in the centre of my chest with a gun. There was quite a bit of blood, but I am somehow alright (without having medical help). I definitely felt some pain, but not as much as I should.
When I look back at the ordeal, I probably should have given that guy some money, but I didn't like being robbed.

Update: I'm okay, I just don't know whether the bullet stayed in the body or went through. It actually has stopped bleeding, though the point of entry is still quite there.

Hiatus Over. New Media Project?

Alright, so my hiatus is pretty much over, and I'm pretty much done with the house. I'll be able to continue my Summer Plan.
It seems like I'll be making an audio show for download now. It is just a "comedy" show, I guess, with retards talking about retarded topics. It won't last long and it'll be doomed to failure.
As a side note, I think I'm a better English speaker now. I've been able to "maintain" my "accent", "flawlessly" for about two hours.

Hiatus

I'm putting my "Summer Plan" into hiatus at least until the end of the week.
The reason is that I really need to help out with my sis' bf's house painting. I spent close to 12 hours today helping him out, and it isn't done yet. He needs it to be done by the end of the week before he leaves for France (from which the rest of the summer plan will follow). Basically, the place is being painted so that he can sell it for lots of money.

Yeah, I just don't have the time and energy to do the stuff I want, so... next week.

Day 7

There is a huge difference from this and the last one mostly because I'm walking less and jogging/running more.

I spent most of the day just watching movies and playing videogames. "Working" on the painting has been pretty shitty and I needed today off.

Watched: Hot Fuzz, Austin Powers: Gold Member, Reservoir Dogs, and Trailer Park Boys (2006).

Basically, two new ones and two old ones.

They're all watchable, but I probably have to rank TPB last of the four. RD > HF>AP >TPB

Car Colours.

I've been travelling from Richmond to Coquitam to help paint a house the past two days. I've noticed that most cars are very dull in colour. I mean, mostly dark (red, green, blue), gray, white, or black.

Now, obviously people like those colours or they wouldn't buy it. This is interesting because I think it reveals a part of psychology of people.

It is just what I've noticed.
