31 January 2007

I failed the interview.

I'm not even sure that one can fail an interview, but if I could, then I did.

The people were nice, but I definitely could have presented myself better.

Cop. Out.

I was going to write the prose, right? (except nobody really cares.) And I got depressed as I started to write it because of the material.

Then, I started listening to the Cthulhu audio books and I noticed how fantastically it was written. That made me feel even worse. It is going through a permanent hiatus while I revise the ideas. Right now, it sounds like I'm trying to pitch a story to a little child.

So that is the cop out. I apologize for it.

On another note, I found out from my friends that the Co-op interviews tomorrow will be a giant gang-bang of six employees. They're gonna each take a turn on me. The whole thing takes approximately forty minutes, so each one of them will take six minute shifts. If this is what I need to do to get hired, I'm not sure I want to >_>

"A Century"

by Chris.

A new prose tomorrow.

The End.

29 January 2007

New Prose tomorrow.

I will have a new prose tomorrow entitled "A Century" (Title subjected to change.)

I don't know if the idea works or whatever. The whole piece came to me as I was trying to fall asleep. I'm confident that I can get it out by the end of tomorrow.

On another note, I've decided to wait until Friday (The last day for Dell's Day of Deals.) Hopefully there will be some deals on notebooks as they have done in the past. It'd be neat, I think.

A better deal for a better time.

After tax = 1,670.14 vs the 1840 for the other one. It looks like this is the better one, n'est pas?
