I went to work today and it was one of the most boring and pointless days ever.
In the twelve hours I was there, I did about three hours of actual work. The rest of the time was waiting for some bulldozer cleanup of a blast pattern. Ugh.
Still, I guess I can't complain about getting paid for not really doing anything.

Question, are you allowed to listen to your iPod while working? In this case, watching a bulldozer cleanup?
8 Hours is a really long time to just sit and watch.

I had sit 2.5 hours in a loading bay once for a cargo truck who was late (arrives 30 minutes after we left due to wasting our time),guess it's not as bad as 9 hours outside, heh. :/
That reminds me of construction medics... Sitting around, reading a magazine... waiting until someone gets hurt... 30$ an hour...
