There was a thunder shower today at the Tumbler Ridge. It was like the rain in the first episodes of Lost. There was nothing one minute. The next minute was filled with thunderous showers.
When the Van was traveling through the 17 KM road, we stopped frequently (due to poor visibility and to see the high water level). It really felt like that scene in Jurassic Park when the children were in that Jeep at night. You know, the one with the glass of water.
Anyway, at home, the power had been flickering off and on. It happened a couple of times today, and the power was restored within five seconds.
Weird.
