Television

Here is a log of the shows that I've watched or finished watching recently.

1) Heroes - Parasite
I wish I hadn't watched this series so I can just sit back and watch it all unfold without all the stupid commercials. I'm doing this with 24.

2) Day Break
Hey man, its a good show. I watched the series finale and am somewhat satisfied. I want to see something more like this.

3) Stargate SG-1
I dislike Sci-Fi for not telling the producers that this was the last season. I mean, if they did it, then they could have put in some actual good stories instead of the stupid meaningless filler we've been having. Ugh. I hope the last two episodes don't suck donkey poo.

4) Carnivale
This is an HBO series and as such features nudity.
Actually, the show is about the battle between good and evil set in the 1930's featuring a boy getting picked up by a travelling carnival. There is another story featuring a pastor in one of these towns. The show lasted two seasons, 24 episodes and is pretty good so far (I'm on 16).

5) Battlestar Galactica
I don't love you anymore. I don't want to see stupid four person love triangles. Seriously. Nobody wants to see that. I do love my Gaius Baltar though. He = good.

6) Dresden Files
So far it is pretty good. It is also pretty formulaic. Seriously, all it has is some hot chick asking the Wizard Harry Dresden for help. They make out, and the wizard might get betrayed once, but in the end all is good.

7) Lost
I don't get why people seem to do the hate on this season. Sure, the story has been going nowhere, and I really hate watching the three main characters. Sure, the flashbacks don't seem to provide any new information and are just retreads on what we already know. Sure, the premise of the story has been forever changed with the advent of the revelation of the "others". Sure, the atmosphere of the entire island is dead.

8) Jericho
I want to give mad props to this show about a city in Kansas or wherever not being nuked when the entire country has been nuked into oblivion. The story has been picking up steam after the midseason break and that is highly appreciated.

9) Curb Your Enthusiasm
I watched the pilot movie, and the first episode. I don't know why, but I just don't like it. I know why, exactly. The speed of the jokes are too slow. The whole thing seems artificial. Maybe they fixed it in the later episodes, but do I really want to invest my time to find out?
