I failed, barely.
I feel bad, but I don't feel as bad because 1/3 of the class also failed. The average was 61 after scaling. The average before was 47.
Not good.
My reasons (and excuse)
1) With an average of 47, it shows that the instructor's teaching method isn't very effective.
2) I was really busy the night / day before. Having only three hours of sleep, I barely studied for this exam.
3) The class is hella boring.
My goal is to fix number two.

I find excuse, I mean, reason, number two to be extremely valid. In fact, I personally thrive off that excu- ahem, reason.
Fear not.
It is not too late to come back into the light.
Ditch engineering. Nao.
Ditch Engineering? I'm doing this because I needed something to do that's constructive. You know.
Mining is the opposite of constructive. You are blowing up the earth and taking stuff away.
You mean you are doing this because you need to do something destructive.
I approve, though. Thank god for cars and diamonds. Yey for shiny, pretty or convenient things.
